These guys are top notch! George McFarlane handled everything professionally and answered every question I had along the way. The roofers are diligent and hardworking, and they care about the customer and their property. They did such a great job on my house I had them come back a couple of months later to roof my garage apartment that was under construction at the time. My contractor inspected my roof after a hail storm. He found things that were damaged that I would have never known about and would have caused future problems. I am currently out of state and I signed a contract with Avco to replace my roof. I was skeptical initially due to my location and thought about waiting until my return but I am so thankful I didn’t. First of all, I was communicated with every step of the way, with pictures, emails, and phone calls. The work completed was absolute perfection. The site was cleaned up daily and other then the brand new roof they left nothing behind. Although I am extremely impressed with the roof, I am more so impressed with the integrity, professionalism, and performance of Dave Freeman and Avco as a whole. Dave’s commitment to customer service blew my mind, his supervision of this project was impeccable. He was only concerned with my needs and doing right by me.read more

Dave Freeman was not only my roofer but acted as my General Contractor! It was so nice to have one person stay on top of my many projects that were damaged in the hail storm. I choose to use Dave because he was a former insurance adjuster so he knows what damage to look for but also the process and how to work with the insurance companies to make sure all my property damages are repaired with a fair settlement. Dave Freeman took excellent care of us after a hail storm in October 2019 left us with an insane amount of damage to our nearly brand new home in Brock, Tx. Before we had even committed to working with AVCO he spent nearly 2 hours walking our roof taking dozens of pictures of damage, literally inspecting every single inch. He spent countless hours going above and beyond to ensure we were completely taken care of by our insurance company and left with 110% satisfaction. The actual roofing process was seamlessly executed in the cleanest and most organized manner I have ever seen. When the job was done there was not a single trace of evidence that a new roof had even been installed other than the absolutely BEAUTIFUL roof on our home. We went into our roof replacement not knowing or being referred to a company. Shiloh did a drive by in our area, since we were outside he stopped to inquire. His professionalism and thoroughness sold us. Curtis called to make an appointment to bring out samples. He explained in detailed the differences in the shingle samples. Provided recommendations what would look great and should we decide to sell what would show off the house. Curtis made sure we understood all the steps that we're going to take place during the project. We felt again we were in good hands. The crew was fabulous. Arrived on time. AVCO Roofing is the way to go for so many reasons! Buddy and his team were beyond incredible to work with-super friendly, professional, and kind. We have never replaced a roof before, so we had many questions. Buddy was patient, explaining all parts of the insurance estimate to me, including ones that had nothing to do with the roof. He called every few days to keep me updated on the process and got things moving as quickly as he could. He went above and beyond on repairing the roof and gutters. He was always on time to our appointments, diligently handling the paperwork’s, scheduling the repair, post repair inspection and follow ups. I can't say enough good things about Dave and his crew. Being a homeowner in Texas you are almost guaranteed to have to go through the hassle of replacing a roof along the way. This is the second time I've been through this process. The first experience was so hectic that I hoped to never have to go through it again.
